I have installed someother sound driver as i lost the c.D containing sound drivers..I want to buy speakers.How can i test whether the sound output is coming from speaker ports or not?I have only headset..Also the headset when connected to sound card,is giving a lot of disturbance besides playing..Do i need to replace sound card?Can i test speaker ports with headset?

I guess you can say this is several questions rolled into one. My company is trying to have Quickbooks Pro 2011 on more than one computer while keeping costs down as it is only a 1 user license. One idea was to move the program with the license to the server along with the company file where the computers in the network can access the file remotely. The biggest worry is multiple computers accessing the file at the same time and any problems that may incur between the two. Will this idea work and is the main worry going to be the main problem we encounter? If it is the main problem, is there other ways to fix it?

Permanently hallucinating?

okay this is the story. i used to do weed, spray, legal herbs and salvia a lot. spray as in inhaling deoderant and what not. i used to trip the **** over it and i used to always control my subconscious to do odd things like change my blood temperature. once on salvia i had a trip where everything made complete sense in the world. 5 months ago i decided to stop doing all of it because all id get from every one of those was bad trips like things crawling over me and things hitting me. i used to always trip with static you see on a tv, it would all bunch up into a little ball and attack me like an eagle. everything was fine when i quit it and my life was getting better. then one night about 4 and a half months ago i had a fan in my room. it started echoing and talking to me. i freaked the **** out and went upstairs to have a drink, i didnt actually know if i was in a dream or not because when id bite my thumb, my body would automatically numb it right when id bite it. it was the freakiest **** ever. anyway. ever since that day ive been on a permanent bad trip. ive tried risperidone but its done nothinig. its all just paranoia and i know its all in my head, trust me, all i think about is answers and theres an erge in my mind that actually likes the bad tripping. thats what makes it so hard. i think this is a type of skitzophrenia.. ive contimplated suicide because this really isnt fun. its just me in a constant game with my sub conscious. i even got a tattoo on my chest saying "control the subconscious". so yeah my question. has anyone been through anything remotely like this? and if so, is there anyway out of it? feel free to ask any questions as ill be happy to answer :)

Having the freedom to grow their own food without having to pay high food prices at Grocery stores that don't always have fresh food? The needs of humans are not being understood in the world today. We are barely scraping food and surviving. Employers do not understand that applicants need a job and money to survive off of. It seems like I am just not good enough for people in the world today. Why can't people realize that racism will never go away?

I mean I'm not saying it is right but it will never ever go away. The only way to even remotely make it disappear is to just grow a sense of humor and laugh at it. My pup is a German Shepherd Golden Retriever mix. She's 11 years old, and will be turning 12 in September, so age is a factor. She has had a recent vet visit and is perfectly healthy and impressed the vet for her age. My husband and I decided a few months ago that she could no longer sleep in the same room with us. There are a few reasons behind this decision, such as sleep disturbances (she wakes and pesters when we stir in the night) and a baby on the way. We don't want her to knock over the bassinet or disturb the baby or us any more than we will already be. She is allowed in the room when we are awake, but when it's time to go to bed we escort her out of the room. At first, she tolerated this, then she would grump and not move at first. After about a month she started outright refusing to leave the room at all when she knows what's up. Now she growls and snaps and makes a big fuss, almost to the biting stage. Needless to say, I am concerned. She has a bed that she never uses, that we use to store her toys. She has not accepted the bed and her things being moved to the room next to us to show her a new "space" for her to be at night. She sleeps in the hallway outside the door and shows pretty extreme (for her: normally a VERY docile doggy) "resting place aggression." Our best nights are when we've spent the evening in other places in the house and go to bed late and don't invite her in at all, but it can't be that way every day! There will be times when "family time" is in the bedroom, and bedtime, she's not allowed to stay for. We've tried cajoling her, begging her, tricking her, enticing her, but there's nothing she wants more than to stay in the bedroom. I've tried giving her some time to get used to this arrangement, since she has had that sleeping space for 4 years now. I decided to move her soon after we found out about the pregnancy because I didn't want her to associate the baby with her being kicked out. Time is getting short though and I'm running out of ideas. Help!

Sleep Hallucinations. Normal?

So I have anxiety to begin with and last night I was talking to my husband about a fear that I have of "losing my mind" or becoming bi polar or schizophrenic before the age of 30. He of course thinks that the notion is ridiculous and rather scolds me for dwelling on things like that. The irrational fears that I carry are a product of the anxiety and I know it but it's still a vicious cycle. Okay, so being as the idea of "crazy" scares the hell out of me I decided to watch a documentary on severe schizophrenia in hopes of overcoming the stupid fear. That of course scared me more and when I went to bed it was all I could think about. How "f**ked these people were". I get hypnogogic episodes briefly at times where the room looks totally different momentarily, or the jerk where you have the sensation of falling. I jerked awake and rolled over and briefly saw the shape of what could have been passable as a human over my husband who was beginning to stir in his sleep also. The image was for only about 1 and a half seconds and quickly dissipated. And then my husband sat up in a coming out of sleep phase and points to the shelf next to the bed and starts saying "Radio, I've never noticed that radio there." Which is funny because the radio has been on the shelf by the bed for the entire time we have lived here. Do sleep disturbances such as these that I described occur from an over anxious mind? They don't happen to me all the time but it seems like the more stressed out I am or the more exhausted they are more intense.

I think it may depend upon the discretion of the police officers responding as to what course of action they may take. They could just tell the neighbors to turn the noise down or they could give them a citation for excessive noise. If other neighbors also complain you may be able to bypass the police and talk to the prosecutor's office because even if the police wrote a citation, the prosecutor would have to be involved perhaps when the neighbors went to court and you may get better response if several of you get together to file a complaint. If there are any repercussion from your calls to the police you want to make sure that you document those as well. I lived in an apartment complex for a while when we had a problem with a tenant so everyone else got got together and went to court together to get the guy evicted. You probably can't get those neighbors evicted but if you all go to court and complain, perhaps paying fines may convince him to turn down the volume. By the way, if that is a rental property you may want to notify the landlord as well since often excessive noise can also mean excessive property damage in rented property.

Dull headache that I have had for about a week?

About a week ago iAd an ocular migrane which is a visual disturbance without the usaually associated headache. I started to rub my face alot and as a result my sinuses inflammed. For the past week I have had a dull pain in my head usually on the right side but has moved almost everywhere within the last week. A little confused what should i do.?

Ok so i went to the doctors because of visual disturbances...I told them my worries of a brain tumor..they looked into my eyes and said that it checked out fine and that there wasnt a tumor pressing on the optic nerve so that its not related to a brain tumor. They checked other things to rule out a brain tumor as well(neurological exams). I passed them all. So at the end the doctor said i dont have a brain tumor. But she didnt tell me whats causing the visual disturbances. Should i go back to the doctor or because they ruled out a brain tumor should i just go to an eye doctor?

We bought a house on land contract 2 years ago and now the owner is filing bankruptcy. What do we do?

We bought a house by land contract 2 years ago. We have never missed a payment and the mortgage is, as of now, paid up to date. The guy we purchased from (the guy who still holds a mortgage on the property) was a small business owner and his business went under. Now, he is filing Chapter 13 bankruptcy because of his business losses, but this only allows him to protect the house he personally lives in, despite the fact the mortgage on this property is good. His lawyer is telling us to just keep making the mortgage payments (directly to the mortgage company rather than thru him) and well be good because it's not in default. The mortgage is thru GMAC, who we hear are not fun to work with. Are we going lose the house? Should we stop making payments? Scared sh*tless right now, we have three children, have invested a lot of money into the house on renovations (roughly $10K), and we recieved the $8K Home Buyers Tax Credit when we signed the contract. Feel like we're in deep. HELP!!!

It's very possible you have Borderline Personality Disorder...I think I had it...it took me years to get over it..but the way I got over it, or the way I integrated emotions back into my normal every day life..is I ended up being alone...kind of isolated, and I had to rely on other people for money, food, etc...I also ended up being abandoned by someone I really got close to...and that kind of triggered those abandonement issues, and I ended up suffering a lot, and that's how I got back in touch with my emotions. Borderlines have emotions, it's just that those emotions are buried underneath a lot of hurt that has been suppressed, repressed. Also I think it's very common that Borderlines are born to people, or have someone in their family who has another personality disorder, not necessarily Borderline. I read somewhere that Borderline Personality Disorder forms when a key person in the child's life fails to prevent that child from harm....I hope this helps. Good luck.

So I was talking to a friend today and she expressed her concern about me getting hurt. My daughter is being hurt at her preschool on a daily basis and I want to report it?

This little girl "E" at my daughter's school has been scratching, hitting and biting my daughter. It's gone on for the last couple weeks but my daughter said she had been telling her teachers so I was confident it was being handled because usually they're pretty good about putting a stop to that. This past week, Monday and Tuesday she had said she had gotten scratched so Wednesday I talked to her teacher and said this is really getting ridiculous, you need to stop this. The teacher seemed surprised to hear about the situation. Wednesday night my daughter complained again about being hit and scratched and I checked her out and she had 2-3 scratches which she attributed all to "E". Thursday when I took her to school I again asked the teacher to please keep an eye out. Thursday when I picked her up, they said my daughter caused a huge disturbance at naptime and was screaming. They then finally told me my daughter said the other little girl had come over during naptime and bitten her and in self defense she had pinched the other little girl, but since my daughter wouldn't show them where she was bitten, they didn't believe her. I took my daughter home and she told me she was bitten not once, but THREE times and pointed to her arms where there were obviously bite marks. I asked her why she wasn't telling her teachers every time this happened. She admitted that the daycare director herself had told her that telling is tattling and she needed to not do it anymore, and big girls just deal with it. I was LIVID because she needs to be able to tell her teachers not just in this kind of instance but if something more serious was happening. Friday morning, I pulled her teacher aside and said I'm really pissed off, here's what she told me. The teacher grew defensive and said they tell the kids not to tattle because otherwise they couldn't read a single book without kids complaining. She said she would reexplain the difference between telling and tattling to my daughter. I said no, you will not. You will pull her aside and tell her that she can come to you when she's in trouble because clearly she's taking the tattling thing too literally and not understanding, and it's ridiculous to leave it up to a 4 year old to decide. Friday after work I went out and my fiance picked her up. When I called to say I was on my way home, he was upset because attached to the sign out sheet was a disciplinary letter saying that our daughter was being awful the last 2 days at naptime screaming and disturbing the other childrena nd that kind of behavior was not going to be allowed. And in her cubby, hidden between artwork, was an incident report that she had been scratched. Her skin was open and bloody with no bandage and she had a very fresh bite mark that was not in the report. I examined her when I got home and she had 3 bite marks, 8 scratches and 4 fresh bruises, including 2 on her back. We are taking her out of the preschool but I'm curious about pressing assault charges and reporting them to the state. Who would the charges be against, the little girl's parents, or the teachers that let it happen? I callled a teacher in a different room that I'm friends with and "E" has a known behavioral problem and they've talked to her parents numerous times without removing her, so they are being very negligent here.

It sounds like bipolar disorder or schizophrenia to me. There's medication to help with the symptoms of both of these. The problem with the medication is when people with either diseases take it, they feel better and think that they don't need the meds anymore so they stop taking it. So go to a professional and write everything (your symptoms) down just in case you're not entirely comfortable talking to them about it. Hopefully then you can get the help you need. I just keep gaining weight! why?

Why wont my Bearded Dragons breed?

How to help girlfriend with her authoritarian parents?

My girlfriend and I are absolutely perfect. Our relationship is better than any relationship I've ever heard of. It is equal, we give just as much as we take, we talk instead of fight, and other people tell us we are so cute :) I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with her when that time comes. But there is only one problem: her parents. They have no problem with me (as far as I can tell anyway) but they are absolutely horrible to her. They always yell at her, blame everything on her, and they never allow her to make her own choices, even when they seem to let her sometimes. She is 18 now (but she still has a year left in high school) and should be making her own decisions. Here is some background into their family. Her parents are around 60, and she has a brother and sister, both around 30, so she is surprisingly young compared to most families. Her mother is a teacher and is about to retire to avoid being laid off. Her dad is a retired cop and was a pilot in the Vietnam war (I believe that much of this problem was caused by any trauma he may have suffered in his life). Her sister is married and is very successful even though their family is relatively lower class. Her brother is recently divorced and lost almost everything but his 2 kids, so he is very dependent on their parents for a lot of things. Both of her siblings are pretty smart but not geniuses, but she is below average, and has trouble in school with ADD and dyslexia, and feels very overshadowed. Sometimes her parents call her stupid and insult her. According to her, her father used to beat her and her mom (but doesnt anymore) and now her mom acts like her dad because she is afraid of what he will do to her. I could go on for hours about the things her parents do to her, but the main thing I am worried about is what this is doing to her. She actually blames herself for her parents' behavior sometimes, and she actually believes some of the horrible things they tell her. She has horrible self esteem, and I think this has contributed positively to they way she treats others, but every attempt I've had at contributing to the way she feels about herself hasn't worked. I do believe she has improved ever since we got together almost a year and a half ago, but I don't know what to do about her parents. It hurts me so much when I see what they are doing to her, and I can't find any other options. There's no way her parents would pay for her to see a therapist, she cannot see her school counselor because she is apparently cold and heartless, and the worst part is that she cannot actually talk to her parents because they don't emotionally connect and will take any sign of disturbance of the status quo as intending to "attack" them. It all starts around wintertime. My eighth grade year, hers too. The place was a camp that our whole grade travels to before school year is over and kids depart for high school. I'm really depressed..?

It feels like my life has been holding everything in and now it's just crashing down. I'm only 13 ( 14 in two months ) and I've been suicidal so many times throughout the last year. I've been traumatized my entire life and we're going through a tough time with money right now to the point where we can't even afford to have a car. I'm also made fun of a lot and people put me down for no reason. I'm not fat, I'm not ugly, I'm not a freak. I keep to myself all of the time and now I feel so distant from the world. I don't want to hang out with my friends and I don't want to hang out with my family or go to work or talk to anyone. I feel like I'm the outcast in this world. Nobody understands me and I'm too afraid to tell my mom about my problems. I'm Catholic and since I've been suicidal and i've been cutting I feel like I've betrayed God and it's just making me more upset. The only reason I get up every morning and continue to drag myself through this is because I don't want anyone worrying and I want everyone else to be happy. My self esteem is extremely low and I feel so helpless. I've asked God to help me so many times and I've prayed for his forgiveness so many times but the guilt won't subside and its just making me spiral deeper into my depression. I like cutting because it makes me feel somewhat better and less stressed but afterwards it just makes everything worse. I just want to break down and die. What should I do about this? Spending time with others is the last thing I want to do.. And I have to go to a friend's birthday party tomorrow and I'll have to act remotely happy and interested. I need help! I'm really scared for my best friend. I don't know if she really is possessed or maybe just is under so much stress she might be going insane. When I was a child, I watched a horrific serial killer documentary about a crazed man. Why haven't I gotten my period?

I'm six days late right now. I didn't take my birth control last month but continued to have protected sex. I thought my period started three days ago so I started to take a new pack of birth control but I guess it was just spotting. No control over my horse when jumping!?

I am getting a little sick of some of the stunts my horse pulls. He is fantastic with the flatwork, but as soon as we start jumping he completely loses his mind and runs away as if something is charging after him. I've got zero control as he runs flat out. I turn him in smaller and smaller circles until he stops. It isn't a training issue - we've been jumping for a while, though not higher than 80cm. It is my fault though, because before a jump I get tense and he rushes into it and runs away with me after. When I circle and stay calm, he goes into the jump beautifully, but still runs away with me after, even when we do little jumps. I have also tried turning him into the fence, halting and then reining back, but as soon as we try jumping again, he loses the plot again. I am terrified of him at the moment, even though he is the sweetest thing doing flatwork. I am jumping him in a Waterford bit. My instructor got on once, but he doesn't do anything remotely as silly, so it must be me. I try to stay calm, but in the end I feel like bursting into tears. Please, no stupid or rude answers like stop jumping. I do enjoy it when he is sane, (which sometimes happens) but at the moment I am frustrated and scared. Help?

You need to tell your therapist that u can't sleep at night because of te OCD. Do not get discuraged. Everyone has some form of OCD... The doctor may be able to give you a sleep drug but let her know what other medication you are taking even over the counters. Keep working on what you are doing it's hard to break habits and keep an log of the times you have sleeping issues and what you feel may have triggered it. Show the log to the doctor and let them know it may effect your progression in the program. Your doing a great job by getting help and coming to terms with it. Good luck!

I've been through a very difficult ride with this girl for 2 years now. She has made several promises along the way and broken most of them. About 30 seconds after I left, the phone buzzed. I looked at the screen and it confirmed that she had immediately got up after I left and deleted an email account that was linked to that phone. Little did she know that it would kick back a message confirming deletion of that account to that phone. Busted!!! Still I am bewildered. I had no intention of digging into her messages. I just wanted the phone back so she would stop playing that game of tugging at my heart strings. However, since I did receive that message confirming email deletion, I became angry and decided to open that phone to check her messages. I was floored by what I found!!! Here's a girl that says she loves me with all her heart, with sincerity and conviction time and time again, yet she had broken so many promises. I asked her many times just to be honest with me and tell me if she didn't want to be with me. She always said, "I actually wish I had more time with you". Still her actions did not match her words. Then, I open the cell, check the messages, and what do I find? I find information confirming secrets, lies, along with printed conversations that she's had with friends and family members blaming me for EVERYTHING and laughing about it behind my back. Her behavior drove me away time and time again! She took responsibility for that behavior by owning up and apologizing, yet in one of those messages, just as one example, she stated to one of her friends, ("Well he broke up with me again for the 8th time! LOL!! And this morning I got 9 emails from him! LOL!! CRAZY!!"). I have never been through anything like this in my life, so it's not typical of me to end up in circumstances like this. That's how I know without a doubt that it was her behavior that caused the majority of this madness because none of my past history patterns any such damaging behavior even remotely. Why are my fish always the the top of the tank? ?

I have a Betta, 3 guppies and 5 white mountain minnows. The betta is as happy as can be swimming around everywhere but the hippos are always at the top and only 2 swim down for a bit then go stay at the top... I am a 16 year old girl (17 years next Feb). Tonight I am going to discuss with my mom about giving me more freedom. It's summer and i've barely been out. I've been stuck at home watching my sister. State of Missouri, I live in a condo and have been being harassed by my next door neighbor, whom I've never met. She had been falsely accusing me of having wild parties, calling the landlord and telling them that I have all these wild parties. The other day she called the cops on my deaf/hearing impaired buddy of mine, stating that there was a domestic disturbance, when in fact he is just loud when talking! Have I missed growing up?

Not at all, everone is different when it comes to growing up, and you dont have to do those things. With me I never had an interest in drinking, smoking, trying drugs, partying, i have yet to live on my own (hopefully will soon though). I barely have an interest in porn. I am the same age and gender as you so i see where you came from from not doing some of same things you mentioned. I didnt get my drivers lisence until one month before my 20th, and I barely drive and would only have good reasons to go somewhere. I am not worried about a getting another bf (i have only had one) there are many people like you who havent done all or some of the same things you mentioned. Dont let these get to you as long as your happy and are able to do things you enjoy and want to to do. You have your whole life ahead of you, and I believe you truely grow up all your life and doesnt stop at a certain age, some experiance things sooner than others and others later.

How can i finally get rid of chronic everyday migraines and neck pain?

Iv had a lot of stress and trauma in my my life, and i have been depressed since i was 11. Although i do have a significantly negative view on the world i've never given up nhope that there is happiness that maybe one day can surround my life. However, all the stress and pain has caused me to experience everyday chronic pain in my neck, back, jaw, and in the form of migraines (which i have had everyday for 3 years believe it or not!!) These problems cause me to have bad visual disturbances, bad concentration, brain fog, and even fuzzy hearing!! In a way I've got used to the pain but I've slowly become less passionate about life, and more miserable. Even worse than this, i can't hold down a job, and have attempted college 3 times!! But either quit because the pain of trying to concentrate is too much or i get dismissed because i can't perform well and im so melancholy. I see a chiropractor twice a week. He told me that it's a nerve condition. Apparently, the stress has become toxic in my system and my joints and muscles have locked up, causing intense nerve irritation. It seems like a good explanation and i do the exercises he tell me too. However, i've been seeing him for 6 months and im still in pain. Becoming more stressed is supposed to make it a lot worse and being positive helps, but how can i?? Its just one big miserable cycle i can't break. I don't even know if what he says is true. Either way i just need help so bad before i give up hope. Please anyone???

PLEASE READ THE FULL QUESTION BEFORE ANSWERING or I will mark your answer as abuse...Dont take the two points for granted..So it goes like this...I downloaded a torrent from utorrent and it contained Kaspersky Anti-virus 2011 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2011..I decided to install the anti-Virus first...I got KKE v0.534 with it along with the two keys...I installed the soft and of course there was a tutorial with it..It said that I should disable self Protection from settings which I did..It asked me to copy fltlib.dll and fltlib.ini files from the KKE folder..but it wont ..the computer says"MAKE SURE THE DISK IS NOT FULL OR WRITE-PROTECTED AND THAT THE FILE IS NOT CURRENTLY IN USE"..Now what should I do?i tried numerous things from encrypting files to hiding files but it wouldn't just budge up...Then I tried to copy some other files into the folder but again its still..I made sure that i wasnt using the anti virus by checking the taskbar and the Processes..Can it be that some other program might be using the folder..By general consensus I found that a file named "Abhelper.dll" wasnt moving through folders and wasnt deleting itself..i tried the command prompt and the notepad method but to no avail..I dont understand why this is happening..Sorry for my poor English..
