Is it safe to have sex during my 4 inactive pills of birth control?

I take my pills regularly and at the same time everyday. I have 4 inactive pills that I take and then I'm back on my regular active pills again. I take my last inactive pill tomorrow night and I had sex today. Am I still protected?
