How does one forward net use command?

I am trying to remotely connect to my machine at home and browse my files using the net use command. I do not trust GoToMyPC or other services like that as I believe some other third party could then access my machine (some bad worker at the company). I understand I need to set up port forwarding on my router. What ports do I forward to make this work?
